How to change your Amazon Prime PIN

You need your Amazon Prime PIN whenever you want to stream video content with an age rating of FSK 18. You can also use it to restrict content and purchases. If you have forgotten your PIN or want to change it for other reasons, follow these steps:

• Open Amazon Prime in your browser and log in.
• Hover your mouse over the “Account and Lists” area at the top right of the menu next to the search bar.
• Click on “My Account” and select “My Prime Video” in the box. Now click on the gear icon to the right of your name and click on “Settings”.Now go to the item “Parental Control”.
• Here you will find “Prime Video PIN” as the first item and the button “change” on the right.
• Once you click on “change”, you can enter a new four-digit pin without having to know the old PIN.Confirm with “save”.
• Note that the PIN is only valid for devices you have added under “Child safety” and initially only applies to streaming videos. You must first actively set up a purchase restriction by PIN query under this menu item.
