• First take a look at the Discord website to see the status.

• If the programme’s servers are currently down, wait until they are back online.

• If you have problems connecting to a Discord server even though they are reachable, make sure you are connected to the internet.

• In some cases, the firewall or an antivirus programme blocks Discord’s Internet connection. Therefore, switch off both services as a test.
