How to make gasoline in Ark: Survival Evolved

In order to start making petrol in Ark: Survival Evolved, you must first find oil. There are several sources to get this raw material, one of which is also underwater.

• Especially in the deep sea, you will find black stones that leave a trail of oil all the way to the surface. With a water dinosaur, you can get there faster and use a pickaxe to mine the oil. If you use a tool made of iron, you will also get more of the raw material.

• Other sources of oil are dung beetles, octopuses and trilobites. With the beetle you extract oil from dung, while you can also simply harvest the raw material from a tamed octopus. You have to hunt trilobites and then “mine” them with an axe.

• To make the petrol, you now fill a furnace with a fuel. Then add the oil and finally some leather. Currently (as of April 2022), you can make a total of 5 units of petrol from 6 oil and 5 leather.
