Disable Google Assistant: Instructions

If you want to deactivate your Google Assistant, follow the steps below. Note that the individual steps may differ slightly depending on the device and version.

  • Open the settings on your mobile device. Go to the menu item Google.
  • Go to Settings for Google Apps or Account Services.
  • In the next menu field, go to Google Search, Google Assistant and Voice Input. Tap on Google Assistant.
  • Scroll down to All settings ☻ General. Tap Google Assistant so the Blue Dot on the right is no longer coloured and is disabled.
