Clear a fault on a Siemens washing machine

Once you have eliminated the displayed error or it is an error in the error message, you can delete the error code from the machine.

• Set the rotary switch to the “Off” or “Quiet” position. This differs depending on the machine.
• Now turn the switch to the middle, i.e. half a turn down.
• Press the switch and move it two positions at the same time. On a clock, the rotary switch would now be at 8 o’clock.
• Now hold the switch in this position for five seconds, then move it to the original position on “Off” / “Quiet”.

• The next time you switch on your machine, the error code is cleared.
