If you want to adjust the bass for your AirPods Pro, you can do so via the settings on your iPhone. You can find out what other options you have for more bass in this practical tip.
AirPods Pro – Adjusting bass via equaliser
The settings for the sound of the AirPods Pro can be found on your iPhone.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone and navigate to “Music”.
- Now scroll down to the “Audio” section and tap on “EQ”.
-
If the equaliser is not yet activated, activate it and select “More bass” from the options.
- To do this, you need two foam pads for the in-ear headphones, a thin felt-tip pen and a cannula and lighter.
- Pull the foam pads over the AirPods Pro and use the felt-tip pen to mark the small opening on the side and the small opening in the middle of the headphones.
- Pull the foam pads back off the headphones.
- Place the pads in front of you and heat the tip of the cannula with the lighter. Be careful not to burn your fingers when doing this.
- Pierce the marks you have just made on the foam pads with the hot tip of the needle. Reheat the cannula after each hole.
- When all the marks are pierced, pull the pads back onto the headphones and align them so that the holes in the pads are over the openings of the AirPods Pro.
