FaceTime is preinstalled on Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad and Mac. Using FaceTime is generally free of charge. However, you must always have an active internet connection – whether via Wi-Fi or the mobile data network.

• After activation, FaceTime accesses your contacts and allows you to call people directly via their contacts using FaceTime.

• For devices from iPhone SE (2nd generation and later), you can create a Memoji in FaceTime and use it during the call.
