Amazon customers who want to stream music through the shipping giant often wonder whether Amazon Music is included in the Prime membership. Amazon has been offering a streaming music service for a long time. This has different costs and functions depending on the subscription.

• Amazon customers without Prime access can use the Amazon Music Free feature for free. This includes access to over a hundred radio stations and playlists created by Amazon that change from time to time.

• If you are an Amazon Prime customer, you also get access to a music service for your annual fee of 69 euros or 7.99 euros per month. Prime Music includes more than 2 million songs, pre-made playlists and radio stations.

• Amazon Music Unlimited is the third variant in the streaming offer and is not included in Amazon Prime. As a Prime customer, the premium subscription costs you 7.99 per month; without Prime, you pay 9.99 per month.

Difference between Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime Music

Both streaming offers provide extensive access to selected songs, playlists and radio stations. As a Prime customer, it is up to you to decide whether the added value of Amazon Music Unlimited is worth the extra cost.

• Football fans can use Amazon Music Unlimited to stream live audio of DFB Cup matches or German matches in European competitions.

• Both offers are ad-free, can play tracks an unlimited number of times and can be controlled with Alexa.
