DPD doesn’t ring – how to act correctly
Contact DPD. Have your shipment number ready.
- You can reach customer service at 06021-150415 from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Describe the situation and ask for a redelivery on a specified date. You do not necessarily have to agree to a pickup at a parcel station.
- You should also inform the sender that the parcel carrier did not attempt delivery. This is particularly important if the parcel is returned to the shipping address with the note “Acceptance refused” or “Delivery could not be made”. You can also discuss the next steps with the shipper if DPD is unable to redeliver your parcel.
