If you want to purchase items in Facebook games, you can use a number of payment methods. Credit card, PayPal or payment by game cards are possible.
Payment method for Facebook games: PayPal
Do you like playing games on Facebook and want to purchase paid items, the easiest way to do this is with PayPal.
- Process the purchase in-game and click on PayPal under Payment Options.
- You will then be redirected to the usual PayPal payment process and will need to sign in with your email address and password.
- The money will then be debited from your PayPal account or your linked bank account.
Pay for Facebook games with a credit card
Credit cards and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover are also accepted by Facebook as payment methods for games.
- Open the Facebook website and click on your profile picture in the top right corner and then on the settings cogwheel symbol.
- Click on “Payments for Advertisements” in the menu bar on the left. Here you go to the menu item “Add Payment Methods”.
- You can enter your debit or credit card details here and confirm by clicking the “Add” button.
- Facebook will now store your payment details for future purchases. You can now purchase items or other features within the app.
Facebook Game Cards
Facebook Game Cards are like game vouchers that you can give as gifts or receive as a present. Redeeming a Game Card is easy.
- On the Game Cards website, simply enter the code on the back of the voucher.
- Select your currency and click “Next”.
- The next time you make a purchase in a game, your credit will be displayed as a payment method.
