How to delete saved passwords in Google Chrome
It’s convenient not to have to constantly enter your password to log in to a website. However, if you share your computer with others, there is a risk that someone could gain unauthorized access to your accounts. Therefore, delete stored passwords if you fear a security risk.
- Open Chrome. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and then go to “Settings”.
- In the left menu, go to the three lines next to “Settings” and then to “AutoFill and passwords”.
- A list of your saved passwords will appear. Right-click on the three dots next to it and click “Remove” if you no longer want the password to be saved.
Delete Google passwords: Here’s how
If your browser is linked to Google, delete the stored passwords using the password manager.
- Open Chrome and go to “Passwords and Autofill” via the three-dot menu. As soon as you move the mouse pointer over it, the sub-item “Google Password Manager” appears.
- An overview of all the passwords you have stored in your Google account follows. Click on the small triangle to remove the password using the “Delete” button.
