At the end of each year, Spotify shows its users their personal musical highlights – called Spotify Wrapped. We’ll give you a brief guide on how to watch your Spotify Wrapped 2024 and get interesting information about Spotify Wrapped.
Spotify Wrapped 2024: When you can see the review
Spotify collects your user data throughout the year. The platform counts the frequency of songs played and the number of minutes listened to. This way, statistics can be created that are summarized in your annual review.
- Data is collected from January to November. The review can therefore be seen and heard annually at the end of November or beginning of December. In recent years, there has been a recognizable pattern: in 2022 and 2023, the release was on November 30, and in 2020 and 2021, it was on December 1.
- If a song plays for longer than 30 seconds, it is included in the statistics. Previously skipped music is therefore ignored. However, whether you actively listen or let Spotify play in a continuous loop on the side or while falling asleep, cannot be distinguished and both are included in the evaluation.
- Podcasts and other content aside from music are also analyzed and are not neglected in the review.
