Searching for an eBay seller – the best way to do it

Sometimes it can be helpful to search for a specific seller on eBay. This is always useful if you want to find special offers or goods. To quickly find a seller, eBay offers you the search function.

• First, open the eBay sales platform in your browser and log in to your account if necessary. Next to the search field on the right, you will find the “Advanced” option. Select this.

• A new window will now open in the “Advanced Search” section. Click on “Find items”, “by item number” or “by seller” on the left side of the screen.

• If you want to find a seller, enter the desired name or seller ID in the search field that then opens. After a few moments, eBay will list matches and similar member names as hits.

• You can find out more about the seller and their offers via the links. You can also access the respective shops directly and take a closer look at the range.

Search for sellers in the eBay app

You can, of course, also use eBay on your smartphone. This makes it easy to search for eBay sellers from the comfort of your sofa or while on the go. You can search using both Android and iOS devices such as iPhones or iPads.

• First, open the eBay app on your smartphone. You will find the “Search” option in the top right of the home screen, next to the search field. Tap it.

• You will be redirected to a new page. There you can enter the seller’s name or seller ID.

• Click on “Search for a user”. You will immediately receive a list of various sellers that may be of interest to you.

• You can then select the seller you want and view their offers. You also have the option of contacting the seller.
