Print job cannot be deleted: How to proceed

First you must stop the “Print queue” service.

  • Open the dialog for executing programs with [Win] + [R]. You can also find “Run” via the Windows Start menu.
  • Enter “services.msc” to display the PC’s services.
  • Right-click on the “Print queue” service and click on “Exit”.
  • Then delete the file to be printed from the temporary printer memory. To do this, open the path in Explorer: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS and delete the files in the folder.

Start service services.msc in printer queue
