Minecraft: How to craft an oven

You can craft ovens right at the start of a new game in Minecraft. All you need is the right resources. Alternatively, you can find ovens in most villages.

• You need eight blocks of quarry stone, quarry slate or blackstone. While you can find quarry stone and quarry depth slate in the overworld and obtain them by mining stone or depth slate blocks, you have to go to the Nether for blackstone.

• Place the eight blocks in the crafting field of the workbench. Leave the middle space free to craft the oven. Then place it in the desired position

• Right-click to interact with the kiln. Place fuel such as coal, lava or wood in the bottom field to light the stove. You can then place various ores, meat, fish and many other resources and blocks at the top.

• Note: The normal furnace is the basis for the smelting furnace, smoking furnace and the drive trolley.
