Telekom: Check DSL availability – this is how it works

by Pramith

It’s easy to check the availability of DSL from Deutsche Telekom. A tool is available here

Check DSL availability at Deutsche Telekom

You can find out online whether Telekom can supply your connection and what the maximum speed of the DSL connection is. You should definitely test availability before signing an Internet contract. But existing customers can also find out with a test whether there is more to be gained from their DSL connections:

  • Open this Telekom website and select at the top whether you are already a contract customer or whether you do not have a fixed line with Telekom.
  • Depending on your selection, enter your Telekom landline number or your complete address including zip code and place of residence. Also copy the security code from the image
  • Click on “Check now” and a list of all available telecom services at your address will appear. Among other things, you will find the maximum possible DSL or VDSL speed.
