Radar Booster in Lethal Company: All info about the item

by Pramith

The Radar Booster in Lethal Company is a helpful tool to improve the crew’s chances of survival and put monsters out of action

Lethal Company: How the Radar Booster works

Lethal Company offers you and your crew numerous items to help you find valuable loot. These also include the Radar Boosters.

  • Radar boosters can be purchased via the terminal in the ship. You have to pay 60 credits per piece and they will be delivered after ordering. This is not an object installed on the ship, such as the teleporter.
  • The Radar Booster is placed anywhere on the ship. It is activated with the left mouse button while it is selected. You can then set it down with [G].
  • They can then be controlled from the ship. You can use several of them and switch between them on the monitoring computer as you would with crew members. They are automatically named for this purpose
  • Radar boosters have two primary functions: They emit an acoustic signal or can blind opponents. For this reason, it can help to place the item in particularly dangerous areas.
  • To emit an audio signal, you must enter the command Ping [name of the radar booster] in the terminal and confirm. The respective Radar Booster emits a loud “Hello”, which has a long range.
  • If you want to use the glare function, enter Flash [name of the Radar Booster]. The Radar Booster emits a glowing light that can scare or briefly stun monsters
  • Attention: The Radar Booster’s flash function also blinds your crew members for a short time. It is also not possible to teleport them back into the ship. You must collect the items individually

Use the radar booster in Lethal Company

The Radar Booster can be used in many ways by the crew in Lethal Company. Ideally, you should combine the functions so that your crew members survive.

  • Place at least one radar booster near your ship. This allows you to use the ping function to communicate your position to lost players via an audio signal. This is much more effective than other methods, especially in the late hours.
  • Inside the building complexes or in dangerous places outside the ship, it is worth placing radar boosters as a deterrent to monsters. Many enemies, such as the Forest Keepers or the annoying Snare Fleas, can be overcome with these
  • Equip at least one person with a shovel and place the Radar Booster so that you can quickly flash monsters. This method allows you to quickly gain the upper hand and kill your opponents
  • You can even use the Flash if the Radar Booster has not been placed. Although this will blind the player carrying the item, this method can help in emergencies.
  • Tip: If you are still missing loot, you can give the Radar Booster to a Hoarding Bug. As you can still see the Radar Booster on the ship’s radar, you can tell your crew members where the nest, which is probably full of loot, is located
