Complete the Master Weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3: Find the Bark

Once you have accepted the quest Complete the Masterful Weapon in the Old Forge through the blueprints of Steepcliff in Baldur’s Gate 3, you must find a specific item.

• This is the bark of a sussur tree. You can find it in the underworld, which you can enter in various ways

• In the Lower Realm, you need to head west. The Sussur Tree is located northwest of the beach and west of the Mykonid Colony.

• This is a huge tree that even has its own waypoint. You have to make your way through to the inside of the tree, which is home to dangerous monsters.

• You will find the bark at the coordinates X: -18 Y: -144 inside the Sussur tree. One of your characters has to climb a little to get to the valuable item

Complete the master weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3: Improve Weapon

If you have the bark of the Sussur tree in your inventory in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can return to the forge.

• The bark has certain properties that are required for the master weapons. For this reason, you can only choose one weapon to upgrade: Dagger, Greatsword or Sickle.

• Click on the forge to start it. You must then activate the bellows. This will strengthen the flame for the forging process.

• Now add the bark of the sussur tree to obtain embers. You can then add the desired weapon to finish it off.

• The quest is now complete. The completed weapon silences enemies when you perform a successful hit. This is particularly effective against mages and bards.
