Android 14: These smartphones will get the update
On 4 October, Google introduced not only the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but also Android 14. Google’s smartphones will get the update first. Then the smartphones of the other manufacturers will follow.
- Google Pixel: All Pixel devices from the Pixel 4a onwards will receive the update. The update is also available for the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold.
- Samsung: All S23, S22 and S21 series devices, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold4, Fold 3. Fold 2; Flip 5, Flip 4, Flip 3. In addition, Galaxy A73, A72, A54 A 53, A52s, A52 as well as A34. A33. A32, A23. A14 and A13.
- Nokia: Nokia G60 and X30.
- Oppo: Oppo Find X5, X5 Pro as well as the Find X3 Pro. Also, all Oppo Reno 8 series devices, the Reno 7 Pro and Oppo A98, A78, A77. A57.
- Sony: Sony Xperia 1 IV, 5 IV, 5V and 10 IV.
- Xiaomi: All Xiaomi 13T, 13 and 12T series devices.
- Realme: realme GT Neo 5, GT Neo 3.
- OnePlus: OnePlus 11, 10T and 10 Pro; 9 and 9 Pro; 8T and OnePlus North 2 North 2.
- Honor: Honor 90, 70 as well as Honor Magic 5, 5 Pro; 4, 4 Pro. Also Magic Vs and Vs ultimate and V2.
- Nothing: Nothing Phone 1, 2.
- Motorola: Motorola Edge 40 and 40 Pro and Edge 30 Ultra, 30 Neo and 30 Fusion.
Andorid update: What else you need to know
Over time, more devices may get the update to Android 14. Here, it depends on the manufacturer how long you will receive Android updates. This is because manufacturers have to adapt the Android version for their devices.
- Smartphone manufacturers deliver system updates for at least two years and security updates for three years. Therefore, if you own a smartphone that was launched in 2022, you will most likely receive the update.
- However, this cannot be confirmed until the manufacturers have provided official details.
