Warzone 2 offers extensive crossplay. It allows players to play with each other regardless of their platform.
Warzone 2: Crossplay in detail
The successor to Warzone features crossplay on all platforms.
- This means that regardless of your preferred platform, you can take to the field against other players or play together with your friends. Supported platforms include Windows, the PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox One, Series S and Series X.
- Crossplay in Warzone 2 is enabled from the start. If desired, console players can turn off crossplay via the console menu. PC players will not have this option.
- If you want to play together with friends on another platform, you will need the corresponding Activision ID. The ID allows you to send or accept friend requests.
- You can then invite each other to matches or start your own lobby.
Cross-Progression for Warzone 2
In addition to cross-play, Warzone 2 also offers cross-progression.
- Cross progression allows you to play on all platforms with your previous progress via your Activision account. All you have to do is log in and your progress will be synchronised.
- In addition to your player level, this also includes your weapon progress and Battle Pass. Furthermore, you can continue the campaign, as well as complete missions and challenges without having to pay attention to the platform.
- The only exception to cross-progression is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare points. While you can use all content purchased through the points on all platforms, you cannot transfer the points themselves. These are always platform-specific.
