You can watch Apple TV on Samsung TVs by using the appropriate app on your TV. Older models, on the other hand, require an Apple TV box.
Samsung TV: Watch Apple TV via App
Apple TV is available as an app on compatible Samsung TVs. This allows you to enjoy the full range of services without any additional components.
- The Apple TV app is compatible with the majority of available Smart Samsung TVs. These either come with the app pre-installed or can be downloaded via the Samsung Smart Hub.
- You can then log in with your Apple ID. If you do not already have an account with the provider, you will need to create an Apple ID. After that, you can watch Apple TV directly through your Samsung TV.
- Compatible devices primarily include all Samsung smart TVs since 2018, and also include Lifestyle TVs such as the Frame and QLED 4K and 8K models.
- As the Apple TV app does not require any other accessories, you use the app as usual via the TV controls on your TV. Alternatively, you can use your Samsung Galaxy.
Apple TV without Smart Samsung TV
If your Samsung TV does not support the Apple TV app, you can set up and use the physicalApple TV box instead.
- Apple TV includes a range of set-top boxes that connect to TVs via HDMI. There are 4K and HD models that are compatible with WiFi and even offer an Ethernet connection.
- You connect the Apple TV box to your Samsung TV using an HDMI cable. After setup, you can use the manufacturer’s streaming and multimedia offerings.
- At the same time, Apple TV works as a potential smart hub. You can manage and use smart devices via the top box.
