LinkedIn: This is the best time to post

If you are active on LinkedIn, the question is what is the best time to post. The right timing is important so that your posts are noticed by as many users as possible

LinkedIn: This is the best time to post

If you post regularly on LinkedIn, your activity on the platform is only meaningful if the posts are seen by as many users as possible. However, the best time can only be determined as a general rule:

  • In general, the best time to post on LinkedIn is between 8am and 10am. Since the first two hours after posting are significant for interaction with the post, you can’t go wrong with the time.
  • Most users of the social business network check their messages as well as posts in the morning and read little over the day here. If you post in the afternoon, the reach of your post may not be high.
  • Because LinkedIn is a professional network, you can expect users to be online between 9am and 5pm on average. They are also most accessible on Mondays to Fridays. Weekend activity on LinkedIn is less high because people don’t work on weekends.
  • Depending on user behaviour, post and topic, however, user behaviour may differ. Analyse your market, your followers:inside and the timing of your posts so you know when best to reach which people.
  • Post at different times to see when your posts resonate better. That way you’ll know afterwards exactly what works better for you. Once you’ve found the right time, you can schedule your posts just like you would on Instagram, for example.
