Find cheap train tickets with the best price search
Finding savings fares with Deutsche Bahn is often not that easy. Although they are displayed directly in the search, which connection is actually the cheapest? You can easily find out with the Best Price Search, DB’s new Sparpreis Finder tool:
- Go to the Deutsche Bahn website and enter your desired travel date, departure and arrival dates and your desired travel time. If necessary, add your Bahncard and your age. Then start the search.
- After you have filled in your search details, a list of all valid connections for your search will appear. You can use the magnifying glass to see the details of the respective connection, such as changes and train number.
- Now you can put a tick in the “Show our best prices” box to the right of the date display above the search results. Now you will be shown different time windows and the corresponding best price. Select the time window that suits you best.
- To select the desired connections, click on the corresponding line. At the bottom of the page, the selected connection will be displayed in an overview.
- Finally, complete your booking by clicking on the button “To booking” as usual. Alternatively, you can also complete your booking via the DB Navigator app (Android and iPhone).
Here you will find what you are looking for with the best price search
You can use the best price search for this type of travel:
- Available ticket types: Super-Sparpreis, Sparpreis, Flexpreis, local transport tickets, selected offers in the European area
- Travel period: Like the saver fare, available at the earliest six months before departure and bookable at the latest one day before departure. However, the same applies here: If too many people have taken advantage of the offer before you, it may be sold out earlier.
